This medical center is a well-established healthcare facility serving the MetroWest community with comprehensive psychiatric services. The facility features a 10-bed acute psychiatric unit that provides specialized inpatient care with strong support for both patients and providers.
Opportunity:
Physician - Psychiatry, Psychiatry - Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Job Details:
• Provide inpatient psychiatric services on an acute psychiatric unit with 6-10 patient encounters per shift
• Must be board certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
• Active Massachusetts medical license required (MA licensed physicians only)
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training required
• Clinical expertise preferred in anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, and personality disorders
• Experience preferred with eating disorders, developmental disorders, psychotic disorders, and organic disorders
• Familiarity preferred with involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraint application
• Treatment techniques including pharmacotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, and ECT preferred
• Required certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
• Immediate start date available for ongoing coverage needs
