Facility:
This behavioral health hospital provides comprehensive psychiatric services with locked units for geriatric, adult, and child/adolescent patients. The facility features a 24-bed department with structured treatment programs and a supportive professional environment focused on quality patient care.
Opportunity:
Physician - Psychiatry
Job Details:
• Full-time, on-site position: Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm (40 hours per week) • Manage a caseload of up to 16 geriatric and adult psychiatry patients as well as child/adolescent inpatient units • Responsible for completing admissions, discharges, and daily notes • Participate in family meetings and agency meetings as necessary • Complete weekly progress notes and attend treatment team meetings • No on-call requirements or weekend coverage • Experience preferred (greater than 2 years) • Must have active MA License, NPI, and DEA • Board Certification Eligible (minimum requirement) • Manage various clinical areas including anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, and organic disorders • Experience with involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraint application required • Group therapy, family therapy, and ECT experience required • BLS certification required • Credentialing timeframe approximately 30-45 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
