This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility featuring a 67-bed psychiatric department. The facility provides a full spectrum of mental health services to adult patients and maintains high standards of patient care with robust support systems for its medical staff.
Opportunity:
Locums Psychiatry Coverage
Job Details:
• Medical Director/Attending position for adult patients (18+ only, no children)
• Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00am-4:00pm
• No overnight call required
• Full-time commitment required for the entire month to maintain patient care continuity
• Strong inpatient psychiatry background required
• Must be comfortable treating anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, and psychotic disorders
• Experience with eating disorders and developmental disorders preferred
• Proficiency in pharmacotherapy required
• Experience with group therapy and family therapy preferred
• Familiarity with involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraint application preferred
• Must be California licensed and Board Certified
• Start date: December 15, 2025 (ongoing assignment)
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
