Facility:
This is a Level 3 trauma facility with 74 beds in the department, providing comprehensive psychiatric care to the community. The hospital uses the Epic electronic medical records system and offers a structured, supportive environment for psychiatric providers.
Opportunity:
Board Eligible - Psychiatry
Job Details:
• Monday-Friday schedule, 8am-4:30pm with no call or nights • One weekend per month, 8am-4:30pm • January-August assignment with approximately 20-22 shifts per month • Epic experience is a MUST • 16-18 patient encounters per shift • Board eligible accepted but must obtain certification within 5 years of residency • Treatment of various psychiatric conditions including anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, eating disorders, developmental disorders, psychotic disorders, and organic disorders • Experience with involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraint application required • Pharmacotherapy skills required • ECT experience preferred • Active Missouri license or IMLC required • BLS certification required • Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days • Local providers preferred
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
