Opportunity:
Behavioral Health Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
Job Details:
• 1.0 FTE (full-time status); Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm • Primarily outpatient practice with occasional inpatient/ED consults • New PMHNP graduates will be considered • Pediatric experience and competence preferred • Conduct health screenings and psychiatric evaluations • Prescribe, monitor, manage, and evaluate psychopharmacological medications • Provide integrated mental health services in general health settings • Collaborate with psychiatrists, seeking consultation when necessary • Refer patients to other providers when necessary • Work within the interdisciplinary team to promote behavioral health services • Utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills • Emphasize health promotion and disease prevention • Must have Master's or Doctorate degree in a related field with specialty focus in mental health • Requires certification as Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with Psychiatry Certification of Added Qualifications (CAQ) • Current certification in CPR and national certification in applicable area • Must complete credentialing process prior to practice
Compensation:
