Opportunity:
Behavioral Health Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
Job Details:
• Full-time position (1.0 FTE) with Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm schedule • Primarily outpatient practice with occasional inpatient/ED consults • New PMHNP graduates will be considered • Pediatric experience and competence preferred • Conduct health screenings and psychiatric evaluations • Prescribe, monitor, manage, and evaluate psychopharmacological medications • Provide integrated mental health services in general health settings • Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams • Utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills • Work both independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals • Provide behavioral health services to individuals and families across the continuum of care • Requires Master's or Doctorate degree in a related field with specialty focus in mental health • Must be certified as either a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with Psychiatry Certification of Added Qualifications (CAQ) • State licensure required along with current CPR certification • Successful completion of credentialing process required prior to practice
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
