This medical center features a newly renovated, state-of-the-art inpatient psychiatric unit with 44 beds for adults. The facility provides comprehensive behavioral health services with full hospital medical support, including hospitalist consultation, on-site laboratory and imaging services.

Job Details:
• Full-time (1.0 FTE) adult inpatient psychiatry position with a 14 days on/14 days off hospitalist model • No outpatient clinic requirements • Join a collaborative team of 8 adult and 3 child/adolescent psychiatrists in a comprehensive behavioral health program • Manage an average caseload of 18 patients (18 years and older) • Work alongside a comprehensive inpatient team including family therapists, social workers, chemical dependency counselors, and behavioral health techs • Overnight call schedule averages 1 in 8 days • Access to strong community behavioral health services including partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs, ECT, ACT, and case management • ECT experience preferred • Position serves a regional service area of 460,000 people • BC/BE in Psychiatry required
