Facility:
This comprehensive behavioral health facility features a dedicated child/adolescent inpatient unit with 16 beds and an adult inpatient unit with 37 beds. The facility includes the innovative Amberwing center providing partial hospitalization programming and state-of-the-art mental health and substance abuse services for children, adolescents, and their families. It's part of a larger medical campus that includes a NACHRI designated children's hospital.
Opportunity: BC/BE - Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Join a respected team of behavioral health specialists in a comprehensive program offering both inpatient and outpatient services. This position offers the unique opportunity to work a 14 days on/14 days off schedule in a child/adolescent inpatient setting.
Job Details:
- Full-time (1.0 FTE) hospitalist model position in child psychiatry inpatient unit
- Join a collaborative team of 9 adult and 4 child/adolescent psychiatrists
- Average caseload of 12 children, ages 6-18 years
- Work with a comprehensive inpatient team including family therapists, social workers, chemical dependency counselors, and behavioral health techs
- Access to immediate hospital medical services including pediatric hospitalist consultation
- Full lab and imaging services available in-house
- Overnight call averages 1 in 8 days
- No outpatient clinic required
- Opportunity to be part of a facility that provides partial hospitalization programming, on-site pediatric occupational therapy, and a Birth to Kindergarten Program
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Additional compensation may be available in the form of bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation.
