Location: New Mexico- Just 3 hours south of Albuquerque and less than 1 hour northwest of El Paso, it is the economic and geographic center of the fertile Mesilla Valley. Growth of the city has been attributed to the university, government and recent retirees to the area. The city is rich in history, arts and scenic beauty offering great year round weather. There are numerous public and private primary schools and universities available as well as sports and recreation activities to meet the needs of all ages and demographics.
Healthcare Organization: Hospital has been serving patients in a free-standing psychiatric facility in New Mexico since 1987 and provides compassionate, confidential mental health and addiction treatment services for adolescents and adults in a secure, therapeutic environment.
Opportunity: Chief Medical Officer/inpatient adult/general psychiatrist
*Full time, employed
*Mon-Fri, 1:5 weekend coverage, once per week overnight call
*Psych NP support
*Manageable caseload
*Excellent support staff
*Ability to work with GME & medical students.
Compensation: Above average base salary
