Job Responsibilities
*Documentation of reasons for medication changes.
*Monthly progress note on patients describing changes in in mental status, behavior and psychopharmacotherapy
*Fitness Status (90 days)
*Perform unit psychiatric evaluations within one week (when patient is transferred from another unit)
*Progress during facility stay to justify transfer to other facilities.
*Demonstrate competency by completing proficiency tests and objectives required by the facility and State licensing boards.
*Provide relevant, thorough, and timely psychiatric evaluations within 24 hours of patient admission to the facility, 90-day report, fitness reports, NGRI reports before they come due.

Working Hours
Monday to Thursday schedule 8:00 am to 5:30 pm (37.5 to 40 hrs).
