A healthcare network throughout the Greater Philadelphia region is seeking a licensed Psychiatrist to join their team.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 5pm
- EMR: Cerner
- Patient Volumes: 10 per day
- Setting: Inpatient
- On Call: No
Responsibilities:
The Psychiatrist will::
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop treatment plans for inpatient psychiatric patients
- Provide evidence-based psychiatric treatment, including medication management and psychotherapy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Participate in treatment meetings and clinical consultations
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry
- Active and unrestricted medical license to practice psychiatry in the state of PA
