Lead an established, experienced team of Physicians, Advance Practitioners, and a support staff of nurses and technicians with the position of Medical Director in a family-friendly small-town setting in Illinois.
This role offers the opportunity to create your own schedule, working 4-5 days per week with no nights, weekends, or call responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience and hold American Board of Medical Specialties certification in Psychiatry, along with an Illinois medical license or the ability to obtain one within 60 days. Responsibilities include serving as the Medical Director for an Inpatient Mental Health Center, overseeing program policies and procedures, supervising staff, managing medical program operations, representing medical services and programs, and acting as a facility expert on mental health laws and trends.
Preferred qualifications include experience in diverse team settings, additional administrative experience in medical programs, supervision of medical professionals, budget management, policy development, and a patient-focused, compassionate approach to care.
