A health services network in Connecticut is looking to add a licensed Psychiatrist to join their growing Behavioral Health team in New Haven County!
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 7:30am to 4:30pm
- Patient Population: Adult (Ages 18+)
Responsibilities:
The Psychiatrist will:
- Evaluate the mental, emotional, and behavioral health
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments to diagnose and identify mental health disorders
- Develop personalized treatment plans for each patient based on their diagnosis
- Prescribe and monitor the use of psychotropic medications
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice in the State of Connecticut
- Board Eligible / Certified in Psychiatry
- Solid assessment and documentation skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
- Strong clinical skills in wound care management
- Ability to work collaboratively with nursing and technical staff
