Annashae is seeking a Full-time or Part-time Psychiatrist to provide services to an inpatient facility an hour and a half outside of Ann Arbor, MI. The facility asks for a minimum commitment of 6 months, preferably a year.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct initial psychiatric assessments for patients upon admission according to mandated protocol.
• Provide medication management and adjustments to patients as necessary
• Conduct follow-up assessments and annual summaries per hospital protocol, adjusting treatment plans accordingly, and provide clinical supervision of behavior treatment plans.
• Participate in case reviews, diagnosis, and treatment planning meetings for patients.

Requirements:

• A medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited school of medicine and Board Certified (preferred) or Board Eligible.

• One year experience (pediatric, consult, adult, geriatric or forensic) as a psychiatrist in a mental health clinic, correctional facility, or inpatient psychiatric hospital.
• A valid license to practice medicine or osteopathic medicine and surgery in Michigan.
• Must possess a Drug Enforcement Administrative (DEA) license to prescribe controlled substances.
• Must possess a Michigan Controlled Substance License.
