DUTIES
- The Psychiatrist is responsible for detailed documentation of medication changes, providing monthly progress notes on patients' mental status and treatment, assessing fitness status every 90 days, tracking progress for potential transfers, and reviewing seclusion/restraint use bi-monthly. They must also conduct timely psychiatric evaluations within 24 hours of admission, perform unit evaluations within a week of transfer, and attend committee meetings or review minutes. Additionally, conduct medication reviews with patients monthly, maintain required competencies, adhere to facility and state rules, provide leadership in patient care, attend continuing education workshops, and participate in the hospital's peer review program.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Current Illinois Medical license
- Current Illinois Controlled Substance certificate
- Current DEA certificate
- Experience working with psychiatric patients

- 7a-5p monday through Friday with flexible schedule to work 8 hour shifts
