Department of Psychiatry

Professor of Psychiatry Adult - All Ranks Available

The University of Missouri for School of Medicine (SOM), MU Health Care (MUHC), and the Missouri Psychiatric Center (MUPC) is seeking full-time adult psychiatrists to join a department of 7 Adult Psychiatrists, 1 advanced practice provider and strong support staff.


Our unique opportunity includes access to our Interventional Psychiatry Clinic for ECT, TMS, DBS, VNS, CES, intranasal ketamine, inpatient postpartum depression treatment, and access to a robust autistic population through MU's Thompson Center for Neurodevelopmental Disorders.

Inpatient Option:

  • Monday – Friday; 8:00a – 5:00p
  • 10 Patients per day in the unit

Outpatient Option:

  • 1 Hour new; 30 Minute follow ups
  • Telehealth opportunities available

Other Details

  • Light Call – 3 weeks per year
  • Great benefits including 8% retirement match

Qualifications:

  • MD/DO
  • BC/BE in psychiatry from an ACGME or ACGME accredited institution
  • For the purposes of this application, board-certified/board-eligible are considered experienced.
