Location: Johnstown, PA - about an hour from Pittsburgh and 3 hours from Washington, DC
Facility: The largest health care provider in west central Pennsylvania
Opportunity: Psychiatrist needed for ongoing inpatient coverage
* March 3, 2023 - Ongoing
* Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm and weekend shifts
* Weekend shifts are one regular and one regular + call
* Call: 1-2 days/week
* On call weekdays by phone from 5 pm until 8 am the following morning. On call weekends round on psychiatric units and see new consultations in the ED and med/surg on Saturday and Sunday.
* Avg Patient Encounters while on call: Varies
* Avg Called in while on call: Varies, about 2-4 admissions, plus calls for behavioral issues, PRN medications, non-routine incidents on the unit
* Response time: 30 minutes
* Midlevels assist with new evals and summaries
* EMR: Epic
* Total Daily Encounters: Approx 12-15
* Department/Units Rounding: Adult, DEM, consults
* Active PA license required
Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Paid travel and lodging available.
