Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services is hiring a Perm Adult Inpatient or Partial Hospitalization Psychiatrist (FLOAT) to begin ASAP! Pine Rest is searching for the right provider to quickly fill this position due to two new program launches.

Job Description
Forty (40) hours per week of psychiatric care services for adult patients requiring inpatient or partial hospitalization level of care
Provides coverage for other Physicians on leave across multiple units
Float position requires flexibility and adaptability to work with different patient populations and diverse interdisciplinary teams
Weekday coverage includes psychiatric admissions, subsequent care visits, and discharges
9-13 patient visits per day
Weekday coverage also includes, but is not limited to:
- Multi-disciplinary Treatment Team meetings
- 1st and 2nd clinical certification if the patient needs involuntary inpatient admission.
- Court hearings for involuntary hospitalization and peer-to-peer with payors
- Meetings with the unit manager, other staff, family, and guardians
- Working with medical students and residents on the assigned inpatient unit
- Collaboration with Advanced Practice Professionals
- Other similar duties required in care of adult inpatient clients
Complete documentation following Division requirements:
- Admissions within twenty (20) hours of patient admission
- Subsequent care visits within twenty (20) hours of date seen
- Discharges within 3 days from date of discharge
- Signed charts upon completion
Employee Citizenship meetings:
- Division and Department meetings
- Clinical Medical Staff meetings
- Medical Staff committee meetings
- Administrative meetings with managers
- Participation in strategic, quality, financial, and clinical meetings/discussions, as required and requested
Required to work one weekend a month on an inpatient unit – with extra pay
No mandatory night calls - option to take night call for extra compensation
Open to new graduates and IMLCC applicants
All specialties within Psychiatry (Addiction, Forensic, Geriatric, Child & Adolescent, Psychosomatic) considered
Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $200,000-$400,000 including potential quality and productivity bonuses, call and weekend work (additional details to be discussed at interview). HIGHER STARTING SALARY THAN OTHER ADULT PSYCHIATRY POSITIONS IN THE ORGANIZATION DUE TO THE UNIQUE NATURE OF THE FLOAT POSITION.
