Location: Defiance, Ohio. Located about an hour from Fort Wayne, Indiana and Toledo, Ohio. Spend a day taking in the scenic views along one of three rivers. Experience the small town feel of the country farms and abundant farmland in the surrounding vicinity. Continue your experience at one of the inviting shopping centers or beautiful parks. The revitalized Main Street District in Downtown is a great place to gather any time of year. Visit one of many fine restaurants, eclectic retailers or join one of the many annual events.
Facility: Outpatient clinics located in northwestern Ohio providing prevention education, outpatient, and residential services with a focus on individuals struggling with substance use, mental health and co-occurring diagnosis disorders.
Opportunity: Locums Psychiatrist Needed for Ongoing Coverage- Onsite or Telepsych
* Start Date/Duration: ASAP; ongoing assignment
* Schedule: Flexible, from 12 hours per week to full time. Will require some extended clinical hours after 5p.
* Onsite or fully remote
* One hour initial evaluations and up to four follow up visits per hour
* 50/50 mix of adult mental health and MAT substance abuse outpatient program (alcohol and opioids; some suboxone and vivitrol injections)
* Collaborative environment with excellent support staff, including a PMHNP, remote psychiatrist and one onsite Medical Director Psychiarist
* EMR: Care Logic
* 30 days onboarding
* Ohio license required (Active, pending, or recently non-active)
Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included
