A respected PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) organization near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join their interdisciplinary care team. This opportunity offers a predictable weekday schedule, low patient volume, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of older adults.
Position Highlights
- Monday-Friday schedule, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
- See approximately 4-6 patients per day
- Locums or locums-to-permanent opportunity
- Mileage reimbursement for patient visits at IRS rate
- Start dates available December 2026 through January 2027
Practice Details
- Care for adults age 55+ enrolled in a comprehensive Medicare-based program
- Mix of clinic visits and occasional home/SNF visits (approximately twice weekly within a 15-20 mile radius)
- Patient panel of approximately 174 participants
- Daily interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care
- EMR: PACElogic (training provided)
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Active Pennsylvania medical license
- Pennsylvania DEA
- BLS certification
- Completion of residency training
- Minimum 1 year of primary care experience treating geriatric patients
- Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine preferred
