As a member of the Client team, you will provide comprehensive podiatric care to patients in skilled nursing, assisted living, and long-term care facilities.

Job Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive podiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to patients in post-acute, skilled nursing, assisted living, and long-term care settings.
Perform podiatric procedures as clinically appropriate.
Conduct patient assessments through medical history, interviews, and physical examinations.
Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings.
Communicate diagnoses, treatment options, recommendations, and care goals clearly with patients and their families or caregivers.
Maintain accurate, timely, and complete medical records and clinical documentation.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
Coordinate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities when necessary.
Collaborate with facility staff and other healthcare providers to support comprehensive patient care.
Promote preventive foot care and help reduce avoidable complications and hospital readmissions.
Participate in quality-improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of clinical excellence.
Maintain compliance with applicable clinical, professional, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Required:
Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited program.
Current, unrestricted podiatry license in the state of Colorado, or eligibility to obtain one.
Previous experience practicing as a podiatrist.
Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of podiatric treatment and appropriate medication use and interactions.
Excellent clinical judgment and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to establish trust and rapport with patients, families, caregivers, and facility staff.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Preferred:
Experience providing care in skilled nursing, post-acute, assisted living, or long-term care settings.
Experience working with medically complex or geriatric patient populations.
Experience performing routine and advanced podiatric procedures in a facility-based environment.
Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Interest in healthcare quality, clinical outcomes, and process improvement.
