Job Summary:
Join a motivated team providing podiatric care to patients in long-term care, skilled nursing, independent living, and assisted living facilities. This role offers autonomy, guaranteed patients from day one, and flexible scheduling.
Job Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose, treat, and evaluate abnormalities and diseases of the foot and lower limb.
Provide care for high-risk patient groups, including elderly and infirm individuals.
Deliver foot health education and utilize diabetic shoes and insoles to prevent wounds and immobility.
Participate in Medicare-mandated quality measure programs.
Collaborate with nursing facility healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
DPM degree required.
State licensure (details to be discussed).
Experience in long-term care or nursing home settings preferred.
BLS Tier 1 required; ACLS/BLS Tier 2 preferred.
Ability to work in fast-paced environments and lift/bend as needed (up to 15 pounds).
