Position Highlights:
Join an established hospital-based Pain Management practice
Focus on non-interventional pain management and rehabilitation
Evaluate and treat patients with chronic pain and musculoskeletal disorders
Emphasis on functional restoration, rehabilitation, and improving quality of life
Work alongside an Interventional Pain Management physician and dedicated clinical support staff
Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM schedule
Friday, 8:00 AM-12:30 PM schedule
Patient appointments scheduled in 15- and 30-minute intervals
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and diagnostic assessments
Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating physical therapy, rehabilitation, medication management, and lifestyle modifications
Refer patients for interventional procedures when appropriate
Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and multidisciplinary care teams
Educate patients on pain management, exercise, posture, and ergonomic modifications
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize functional outcomes
Fully integrated Epic EMR
Qualifications:
MD or DO
Training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
Experience or interest in non-interventional Pain Management
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Commitment to multidisciplinary, patient-centered care
Excellent communication and collaborative skills
