Opportunity Details:
- Specialty: Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) / Physiatry
- Job Type: Locum Tenens (1099)
- Location: East Texas (Tyler Area)
- Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital (49 Beds)
- Start Date: December 21, 2026
- End Date: December 26, 2026
- EMR: Epic
Coverage Details:
- Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible daytime hours).
- Call: No night call and no weekend call (Hospitalists cover all off-hours call).
- Patient Population: Adults (Inpatient Rehab).
- Daily Volume: 16–20 patients per day.
- Responsibilities: Inpatient rounding and medical management only.
- Support Staff: 6–8 RNs, 1 PA/NP, plus daytime hospitalist support on site.
- Procedures: None required (Interventional pain/procedures not required).
Additional Information:
- Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 45 days (Temporary privileges not available).
- Full travel and lodging provided (Flights into Tyler Pounds, DFW, or Love Field, plus hotel and rental car).
- Malpractice insurance covered.
