A hospital in the Duluth, Minnesota area, a Level II trauma center on the shore of Lake Superior, needs a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician for an ongoing locum assignment starting January 1, 2027. $215 an hour for scheduled clinical hours plus call. Temporary privileges are available, licensing support is available, and your travel and expenses are covered.

Job Responsibilities

Inpatient PM&R care in an 18-bed department, with about 8 to 14 patients a shift, rounding on assigned patients and admissions as needed, plus call coverage. You work with 2 to 6 nurses, an MA, and office staff, and you do not supervise advanced practice providers. Epic EMR. The nearest airport is Duluth International.

Qualifications

Board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation. ACLS and BLS. Credentialing takes about 30 to 90 days, so apply early.

Working Hours

Scheduled clinical hours plus call. Ongoing, starting January 1, 2027. The exact schedule is covered on a call.
