Facility:
This is an inpatient rehabilitation hospital attached to a major regional medical center, offering a well-structured and collaborative environment for physiatrists. The facility features a maximum census of 33 inpatient rehab beds and a robust consultation service, supported by a strong interdisciplinary team.Opportunity:
Physician - Physical Medicine and RehabilitationJob Details:
- Inpatient rehabilitation setting with a maximum census of 33 patients
- Supervise 3-4 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
- Work with an interdisciplinary team with a majority of patients presenting with neurologic diagnoses including stroke and TBI
- Lead team conferences as part of care coordination responsibilities
- Manage a robust consultation service of 25-40 patients
- Approximately 30 patient encounters per shift
- Schedule is Monday through Friday, 0700-1530 with no outpatient responsibilities
- Medical management skills required
- BLS certification required
- Active North Carolina medical license required
- Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days
- Nearest airport is ILM (Wilmington International Airport)
