Job description

A rehab hospital in East Sandwich, MA needs a PM&R physician starting 1/4/2027, 13-week contract. Full-time only, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. $1,900/day, $2,660/day on holidays, $313.70/hr callback. Weekend call is light, about 1 every 7th weekend.

Job Responsibilities

Admissions and discharge responsibilities, average daily census of 15 adult patients. No procedures required. The role may flex between a more attending-style or consultative role over the course of the assignment. On weekend call (approximately 1 in 7, Saturday morning through Monday morning, 4 hours gratis each day), round on your own patients and assist the house officer before leaving. Chart in Epic.

Qualifications

Board certified in PM&R required. Active Massachusetts license required, the MA board has been running 3-4 months so plan accordingly, though the client is open to a temp-to-perm license path. DEA required. 1 year minimum experience. Credentialing runs 3-6 months, temp privileges possible.

Working Hours

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, full-time only. Weekend call approximately 1 in 7 weekends.
