Job description
We are seeking a skilled Physiatrist to join a physician-owned and managed practice in New York City. The ideal candidate will have experience in treating workplace injuries and possess strong procedural skills. This position involves working with referrals through various insurance networks and requires proficiency in EMG procedures.
Responsibilities
- Manage routine PMR cases with a focus on in-office procedures.
- Conduct EMG tests and interpret results.
- Work with workplace injury cases, primarily referred through workers' compensation.
- Hold clinical hours in multiple offices to maximize patient contacts.
- Collaborate with a strong support team to focus on patient care.
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm
Qualifications
- Experience with workers' compensation cases required.
- Possession of a Workers Comp # preferred, willingness to obtain required.
- NYS License, CSR, DEA preferred, but not required.
- DOT certification and workers' compensation experience preferred.
