Sports Physiatrist

Join a highly regarded, affiliated orthopedic practice seeking a specialist to enhance in-house capabilities with a focus on EMGs and advanced injections. We are looking for a provider with elite training and a strong cultural fit.

Role / Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret EMG studies to meet high existing demand.
• Focus on sports medicine with PRPs, cortisone injections, and musculoskeletal care.
• Collaborate closely with a team of high-volume orthopedic surgeons and physician assistants.
• Engage in a majority procedural role: approximately 60-70% injections and 30-40% EMGs.
• Full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 7am–5pm, with shorter Fridays usually ending by 4/4:30pm.
• No on-call duties or weekend work required.
• Utilize EPIC EMR, with full administrative support for scheduling and prior authorizations; access to in-house X-ray and ASC.

Requirements

• MD or DO with specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
• Sports Medicine training is required.
• Strong experience in EMG studies, with emphasis on quality.
• High-end academic training is strongly preferred.
• New graduates or mid-career professionals considered, provided training is strong.
