Specialty:Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)
Start Date: 6/1/26 - 6/30/26
Contract Length:3 weeks
Shift Details: 5x8 plus night call
Schedule:Monday-Friday 7a-3:30p or 8a-4:30p (flexible); Wednesday there is a staff meeting at 7:30a so will need to be there for that.
Work Details:
Support staff:occ therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy, RNs
Amount of coverage needed per month:?3 weeks of leave coverage
Patients per day:8-10 (11 bed unit)
Patient population/age:adult
Department description:
EMR:EPIC
Hospital bed size: 134 beds
Special procedures:bread and butter inpatient rehab; joint injections, baclofen pumps, etc
Skills required: see above
Practice Setting:
Hospital– all inpatient rehab unit in hospital – may get consulted on acute care side for a patient to see if they’re going to get admitted.
Requirements:
Board Certification:REQUIRED in PM&R
State license required:YES – IL
DEA:Yes
CSR:Yes
Certifications preferred:
Certifications required: ACLS
Minimum experience required:1-2 year minimum PREFERRED
Credentialing Timeframe:Typically 90 days but can push emergency privileges through in a few days as long as provider is quick on app and supporting docs!
