Position Overview
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to join a growing, patient-focused practice in Abilene, Texas. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality, comprehensive care in a collaborative environment, with a strong emphasis on interventional spine, pain management, and musculoskeletal medicine.Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurologic conditions
- Perform interventional procedures, including cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine injections
- Conduct and interpret EMG and nerve conduction studies
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans focused on restoring function and improving quality of life
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physical therapists and referring providers
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification or board eligibility in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- Fellowship or advanced training in interventional spine, pain management, or musculoskeletal medicine (preferred)
- Demonstrated procedural proficiency in spine interventions
- Experience with EMG diagnostics
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
