Physiatrist / PM&R Physician (MD/DO) — Part-Time | Joint RFA Procedures — The Villages, FL

$350,000–$400,000 pro-rated | 1–3 days per week

Part-time and full-time physiatry opportunities available

Position Overview

AROmotion is seeking a board-certified physiatrist or physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) physician for a part-time procedural role at our Palm Beach Gardens, FL clinic. You will perform fluoroscopy-guided radiofrequency ablation (RFA) for chronic knee, hip, and shoulder pain as part of our three-step non-surgical musculoskeletal treatment protocol.

This is a procedures-focused physiatry position. No opioid prescribing, no medication management, no insurance administration, no on-call responsibilities. No nights, no weekends.

Your Role: Procedural Physiatrist

Your physiatry training gives you the foundation this role needs: deep understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy, functional restoration, and non-surgical treatment of chronic pain. At AROmotion, you apply that expertise through fluoroscopy-guided RFA procedures, working within a team that shares your philosophy of treating pain without surgery.

Patients are evaluated and cleared by a consulting physician prior to your procedural day. You focus on performing RFA with precision, documenting in our EMR, and collaborating with the rehabilitation team on reconditioning protocols.

Clinical Focus:

  • Knee Pain: Genicular nerve radiofrequency ablation (superior medial, superior lateral, inferior medial) for osteoarthritis and chronic knee pain
  • Hip Pain: Femoral and obturator nerve radiofrequency ablation for chronic hip pain and hip osteoarthritis
  • Shoulder Pain: Suprascapular and axillary nerve radiofrequency ablation for chronic shoulder pain and rotator cuff conditions

All procedures performed under fluoroscopic guidance. Your time is musculoskeletal procedures and patients, not paperwork or medication refills.

Why PM&R Physicians Thrive With Us

  • Work-Life Balance: No on-call duties, no nights, no weekends. Choose 1, 2, or 3 days per week with a consistent, predictable schedule. Ideal for physiatrists seeking part-time procedural work.
  • Practice What You Were Trained For: Your PM&R background in musculoskeletal medicine, functional restoration, and rehabilitation is the foundation of everything we do. This role lets you apply it through procedures, not just consultations.
  • Non-Opioid by Design: Our protocol is strictly non-opioid. You will never be asked to manage or prescribe pain medication. This is restorative physiatry, not pain management clinic work.
  • No Insurance Burden: Our direct-pay, cash-pay model means no prior authorizations, no insurance denials, no appeals. When you determine a patient needs treatment, it happens.
  • Patients Who Want to Be There: Direct-pay patients who researched their options and chose a non-surgical path. These are motivated patients who align with a physiatrist's treatment philosophy.
  • Measurable Outcomes: We track WOMAC scores on every patient. As a physiatrist, you understand the value of validated outcome measures. You will see the clinical impact of your work in real data.
  • Modern Clinical Environment: Class A office spaces with dedicated procedure rooms, fluoroscopy equipment, and full clinical support staff.
  • Stability & Growth: Join a wholly-owned company (not a franchise, not PE-backed) with a clear vision for nationwide expansion. Physicians who join now grow with us.
  • RFA Training Provided: If your physiatry practice has focused on EMG, joint injections, or consultative PM&R rather than fluoroscopy-guided RFA, we provide structured hands-on training in peripheral joint radiofrequency ablation. Your musculoskeletal anatomy knowledge transfers directly. Most physiatrists are performing independently within a brief onboarding period.

About Us

AROmotion was founded by physicians, surgeons, and university scientists to address the gap between conservative management and joint replacement surgery. Our three-step protocol combines radiofrequency ablation to interrupt pain signaling, orthobiologic placement to support joint healing, and a structured reconditioning program to restore musculoskeletal function. Since 2017, we have treated over 8,000 joints across 6 locations with WOMAC outcome tracking on every patient.

Our model was built around the physiatry philosophy: treat the whole patient, restore function, preserve the joint. Our direct-pay model eliminates insurance bureaucracy, allowing PM&R physicians to focus entirely on delivering patient-centered musculoskeletal care.
