A dedicated healthcare group specializing in comprehensive, geriatric-focused inpatient care is seeking a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to join their clinical team in Dover, Delaware.
This role focuses on treating the whole person—addressing conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons to restore mobility, enhance function, and maximize quality of life for the inpatient rehabilitation population.
Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive rehabilitation management and medical oversight for patients recovering from complex illnesses and physical impairments.

Conduct clinical rounds 4 days a week, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care focused on positive patient outcomes.

Review new inpatient admissions, evaluate patient conditions, and establish individualized diagnostic and treatment plans.

Collaborate with and oversee a Nurse Practitioner (NP) for daily rounding and continuous patient care.

Maintain complete clinical documentation using the Practice Fusion EMR system.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education/Licensure: MD or DO with an active, unrestricted Delaware medical license (DE MD/DO).

Board Status: Board Certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) is preferred; Board Eligible candidates will be considered for the right fit.

- Comprehensive malpractice and liability coverage provided.

- 1099 or Base Comp + BONUS STRUCTURE
