New Rehabilitation Hospital - Southern Indiana /Louisville

A new inpatient rehabilitation hospital is being built now in Southern Indiana, just across the river from Louisville, and the facility is looking for a PM&R doc to serve as Medical Director and be the face of the program to the community!

This is a perfect opportunity to have a private practice that works for you and gives you a great work-life balance! Internal Medicine coverage is already in place, and there is flexibility in how the physician model is structured. The incoming Physiatrist could serve as the primary physician leading the rehabilitation program, or work in a collaborative model alongside Internal Medicine, depending on the interests of the incoming physician.

The Medical Director role will include dedicated administrative time and leadership compensation, in addition to clinical responsibilities. There is a strong Medical Director stipend and billing fee for service, so your potential is limited only by you. They’ll admit their first patient in early summer and draw from strong referral relationships throughout the Louisville region, including established health systems on both sides of the river.
