The facility in NY state is seeking a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician with pain management experience to provide locum coverage in Canandaigua, NY. This role focuses on ambulatory pain management with opportunities to perform a wide range of interventional procedures.

Position Details

Practice Setting: Outpatient Ambulatory Pain Clinic

Location: Canandaigua, NY

Coverage Type: Locum Tenens

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Call Requirements

Office call only after hours and weekends.

Practice Environment

Ambulatory clinic setting with support staff including secretary and onsite LPN during clinic days.

May include coverage at the ambulatory clinic and occasional coverage at Clifton Springs OR space.

Procedures Performed

Candidates should be comfortable performing a range of pain management procedures including:

ESI (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)

MBB (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)

RFA (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)

Nerve blocks (various)

Trigger point injections

Sacroiliac joint injections

Spinal cord stimulator trials

Genicular nerve blocks

Genicular RFA

Intercostal nerve blocks

Piriformis injections

Requirements

Active New York medical license – required

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pain Management / PM&R – required

Minimum 1–2 years post-fellowship experience – required

BLS certification – required

Epic EMR experience – required

Additional Information

Clinic-based role focused on ambulatory pain procedures.

Lunch break is typically 1–2 hours depending on the schedule.
