PM&R INPATIENT JOB DESCRIPTION HIGHLIGHTS
We are looking for a full time PM&R Inpatient Physician interested in building a practice and growing with the community. Practice Model
The PM&R Physician will establish a private practice to include a caseload of medically complex inpatient rehabilitation patients and an outpatient rehabilitation practice if he or she chooses. The Physiatrist will set up a relationship with an independent billing company and retain 100% of his/her own billing and collections. Encompass Health hospitals are extremely busy with consistent patient volumes – Encompass Health has its own well-trained outreach teams that identify appropriate inpatient rehabilitation candidates from surrounding areas.

With a population close to 9,000, Mechanicsburg is a borough in Cumblerland County, Pennsylvania. Easy access to Interstate 81, I-76, I-83 and US 11/15, all make Mechanicsburg an easy 30 minute drive to Harrisburg International Airport. Mechanicsburg is also within driving distance of Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington D.C. for quick and easy day-trips. QUALIFICATIONS
- MD or DO with state medical license or willingness to obtain state license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Patient-centered commitment to excellence
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Hospital-based physiatry experience preferred
