Job description
A high-volume acute consult service is awaiting the right Physiatrist who enjoys hospital work and helps patients find their path to recovery. You’ll have the flexibility to build the practice into your ideal!
This is a well-established, successful rehab program in partnership with the health system of choice in the area. The consult volume is significant and can support a practice on its own, while still allowing you to maintain a small inpatient census and outpatient continuity, if you choose.
Practice Structure
• Lead and expand the acute rehab consult service
• 5–10 inpatient census, should you desire
• Outpatient clinic on campus, already built out, if that is in your plan
If you want to be involved on the in-patient rehab side, then Internal Medicine and APPs manage medical issues and take the majority of call. PM&R call is light, shared, and well supported, with minimal weekend burden. You’ll be joining an organization with a strong track record in rehabilitation, consistently ranked among the top programs nationally for outcomes
