  • The leading hospital in the tri-states, offering the only comprehensive cardiology center and level II regional neonatal intensive care unit in the area.
  • Other services include a trauma center, a CARF-accredited inpatient rehabilitation unit, home health care, orthopedics, retail pharmacies, palliative care, and a wide range of outpatient and community services.
Opportunity:
  • Candidates must be experienced and Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)
  • Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit located in Dubuque, Iowa.
  • Experience managing medical cases and a great team player who is comfortable working with an interdisciplinary care team including nurses, physicians, and therapists.
  • Patients on the rehabilitation unit range in age from 18 years to geriatrics.
  • Common diagnoses seen on the unit include stroke, head injury, spinal cord injury, Guillain Barre syndrome, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, major multiple traumas, cardiac & orthopedic conditions, and other conditions causing impairments in functional areas.
  • The schedule for this is full-time, Monday-Friday, which includes 36 patient contact hours per week.
Compensation:
