Enterprise, Alabama, Pediatrician Job

Clinical Role:

• Permanent, full-time Pediatrician (MD/DO) opening at a community health center (FQHC)
• 1 physician needed; start date ASAP
• Outpatient FQHC practice seeing pediatric patients
• About 20 patients per day
• Monday–Friday schedule; a four-day workweek may be considered
• No evening or weekend office hours
• After-hours and weekend on-call as assigned
• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics
• New graduates welcome to apply
• J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship available
• Preventive care and health promotion, along with diagnosing and managing acute and chronic illnesses
• May serve as collaborating physician for up to 3 APPs, if needed
• Day-to-day supervisor of the office where they practice
• Takes part in training residents and students
• Attends monthly physician meetings and peer chart reviews, and chairs the monthly clinical staff meetings
• Reports to the Chief Medical Officer

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary around $250,000
• W-2 employed position
• Loan repayment available

Requirements:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics
• Current unrestricted Alabama license (or able to obtain), plus federal DEA and state controlled substance registration
• Current CPR certification
