Position Highlights
Full-time Pediatric Psychiatry opportunity
Combination of outpatient and/or inpatient clinical care
Diagnose and treat mental health disorders in children and adolescents
Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
Provide ongoing psychiatric treatment and counseling
Conduct regular assessments and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress
Establish positive, trusting relationships with patients and families
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team
Involve and counsel family members when clinically appropriate
Coordinate referrals to specialists and community resources as needed
Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation and patient confidentiality
Group practice and hospital-based environment
Variable work schedule
Qualifications
MD or DO
Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency
Completion of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship training
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Experience in a group practice and/or hospital setting preferred
Active or eligible West Virginia medical license
Eligible for appropriate hospital medical staff privileges
