Pediatrician Opportunity - Elizabethtown, NC
Full-Time | Permanent | Outpatient Pediatrics
Position Details
* Outpatient Pediatrician opening joining an expanding regional healthcare network in Elizabethtown, North Carolina
* 100% outpatient pediatric care with a family-friendly schedule offering excellent work-life balance
* Call responsibilities are limited to phone-only consultations
* Provide comprehensive care to children from birth through adolescence within an established, thriving community practice
* Modern clinical setting supported by experienced nursing staff, integrated EHR, and an established patient panel
* Collaborative environment with access to pediatric subspecialists and inpatient pediatric hospitalists when higher-level care is needed
* Academic and teaching opportunities available through affiliated medical school partnerships and residency/fellowship programs
Position Responsibilities
* Deliver comprehensive primary pediatric care, including well-child exams, immunizations, developmental screenings, and acute illness management
* Manage chronic childhood conditions and formulate individualized care plans from birth through adolescence
* Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists, hospitalists, and allied health professionals to ensure cohesive, multi-specialty patient care
* Participate in phone-only on-call rotation as required by the practice
* Mentor and participate in teaching medical students and residents if interested
Candidate Qualifications
* Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) or American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics (AOBP)
* Active, unrestricted North Carolina state medical license (or eligible to obtain)
* Active DEA certification
* Strong clinical skills, excellent interpersonal communication, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
