A hospital in the Ganado, Arizona area needs one pediatrician for an ongoing locum assignment. $174.10 an hour, Monday to Friday, with your flight and rental car covered and housing arranged directly by the site.

Job Responsibilities

General pediatrics for patients from birth to age 18, about 15 to 20 a day in clinic. You will also round on 2 to 3 inpatient beds, roughly 1 to 2 hours a day, with no procedures and no overnight stays. You work alongside an OB/GYN and family medicine team. The EMR is Meditech. Demand is driven by patient volume, so the need is real and the schedule is steady.

Qualifications

Board certified in pediatrics, board eligible is not accepted. NRP, PALS, and BLS. An active Arizona license, or eligibility for the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact, or an IMLC letter of qualification in hand. Temporary privileges are available for providers with a clean background. The interview is a CV review, then a conversation with the CMO and medical staff team.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, clinic and inpatient rounding.
