Pediatric Hospitalist Opening in Louisiana Located in Shreveport Full-Time & Permanent Seeking a BE/BC Pediatrician to join hospital.
- Rotation: 7 days on, 7 days off.
- Team Structure: 4-physician rotation model.
- Day Shifts: In-house floor management and admissions.
- Night Shifts: Unrestricted call from home.
- Newborn Nursery: Q4 weekend unassigned nursery coverage at one location. Paid unassigned nursery shifts at another location.
- Competitive Shift + wRVU compensation on both day and night shifts.
- Unassigned Nursery Call compensation. Minimum of 4 days paid unassigned nursery call per month.
- 24-bed dedicated pediatric inpatient unit.
- Modern community health system with robust subspecialty support.
- Need current PALS and NRP certifications Duties:
- Manage inpatient admissions, daily rounds, and discharges.
- Provide expert consultations for emergency department pediatric cases.
- Coordinate care plans with primary pediatricians and specialists.
- Stabilize and prepare patients requiring transfer to intensive care.
- Lead pediatric resuscitation or rapid response protocols if activated.
