Job Responsibilities

β€’ Provide comprehensive pediatric primary care, including well-child visits, preventive care, and acute illness management.
β€’ Manage an outpatient patient panel and ensure timely review of laboratory and diagnostic results.
β€’ Coordinate specialty referrals and continuity of care for pediatric patients.
β€’ Collaborate with medical leadership and multidisciplinary teams on quality improvement and PCMH initiatives.
β€’ Educate families on preventive medicine, disease management, and community health resources.

Qualifications

β€’ MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
β€’ Active, unrestricted Texas Medical Board license.
β€’ Current DEA and DPS registrations in Texas.
β€’ Current CPR certification for healthcare professionals.
β€’ Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges, if required.
β€’ Strong knowledge of pediatric medicine, clinical protocols, EHR documentation, and Texas medical regulations.
β€’ 1+ year of direct pediatric practice experience preferred.
β€’ Bilingual Spanish speaking and writing skills preferred.
