Job Responsibilities
• Manage an outpatient patient panel and ensure timely review of laboratory and diagnostic results.
• Coordinate specialty referrals and continuity of care for pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with medical leadership and multidisciplinary teams on quality improvement and PCMH initiatives.
• Educate families on preventive medicine, disease management, and community health resources.
Qualifications
• Active, unrestricted Texas Medical Board license.
• Current DEA and DPS registrations in Texas.
• Current CPR certification for healthcare professionals.
• Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges, if required.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric medicine, clinical protocols, EHR documentation, and Texas medical regulations.
• 1+ year of direct pediatric practice experience preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish speaking and writing skills preferred.
