Outpatient General Pediatrician – Multiple Locations

Vandalia Health is seeking compassionate, patient-focused Outpatient General Pediatricians to join our growing pediatric network in West Virginia. Opportunities are available at multiple locations, including Teays Valley and Ripley, with additional locations based on organizational and community needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for physicians who are passionate about providing high-quality, comprehensive outpatient care to children and adolescents while practicing within a collaborative, well-established health system.

Position Highlights

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary and preventive care for infants, children, and adolescents

• Conduct routine well-child examinations, developmental assessments, and preventive screenings

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions in the outpatient setting

• Provide immunizations, anticipatory guidance, and health education to patients and families

• Monitor growth, development, and overall health throughout childhood and adolescence

• Establish long-term relationships with children and families in the communities served

• Coordinate referrals and ongoing care with pediatric specialists and other healthcare professionals when appropriate

• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and other members of the care team

• Utilize Vandalia Health’s integrated system for specialty referrals, diagnostic services, and continuity of care

• Practice in a supportive outpatient environment with access to comprehensive clinical resources

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

• Completion of an accredited Pediatric Residency Program

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics

• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of West Virginia

• Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based outpatient pediatric care

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
