Aya Locums is seeking a board-certified Pediatrician for a 26-week locum tenens assignment in Baraboo, Wisconsin.
Position Details
- Start date: November 22, 2026
- Assignment length: 26 weeks
- Practice settings: Hospital and clinic
- Patient population: Pediatric
- Patient volume: Approximately 15–20 patients per day
- EMR: Epic
- Support staff: 1:1 support with a clinical MA, LPN, or RN
- Department: Family Medicine
Schedule
- 24-hour call: 7:00 a.m.–7:00 a.m.
- Clinic hours: 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday:
- Clinic coverage plus 24-hour call
Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday:
- 24-hour call only
Beginning in January 2027, coverage is needed during the second two weeks of each month.
2026 Backfill Dates
- November 22–27
- December 17–22
- December 28–31
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide pediatric clinic and hospital coverage
- Perform standard pediatric procedures, including circumcisions
- Attend deliveries and C-sections while on call, as needed
- Manage sick pediatric patients
- Call is primarily for deliveries, C-sections, and sick children
- Hospital return is generally required for deliveries or C-sections
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board certification in Pediatrics
- Active Wisconsin medical license
- PALS certification
- NRP certification
- Minimum experience: To be determined
