Job description
We are seeking a Pediatrician for a locum tenens position supporting a multi-state clinical research study. This is a travel-based assignment serving patients in home health and office-based settings across the study footprint. Please see below for more information.
- Investigational drug study in the epilepsy space, currently in trial phase
- Practice setting: home health visits and office-based patient visits
- Travel to patient locations required, by air or ground
Job Responsibilities
Remain on site with the patient for a 3-4 hour post-administration observation period to monitor for adverse reaction
Monitor and document patient response following study drug administration
Deliver care to a study population that includes both pediatric and adult patients, with the majority 18 years of age and younger
Practice autonomously in home health and office-based settings with independent clinical decision-making
Travel by air or ground to patient locations across the study footprint
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 active state medical licenses
Licensure across the study states: NJ, MI, CT, PA, NY, NH, RI, VT, ID, NV, CO, MN, FL, GA, NC, SC, AL, TN, AR, LA, CA, WA, MD
IMLC compact participation, or IMLC eligibility to obtain additional licenses
Willingness to obtain additional state licensure
Working Hours
Protocol visit structure: on site with each patient on Day 1, Day 56, and Day 112 of that patient's study timeline
Each drug administration visit includes a 3-4 hour on-site observation period
Approximately 5-8 site visits per month, with 8 visits as the maximum
