Inpatient Child Psychiatrist Opportunity - Kankakee County, Illinois Seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Child Psychiatrist to join a strong network of more than 150 primary care and specialty physicians and advanced practice providers dedicated to delivering remarkable healthcare experiences in Kankakee County, Illinois. Position Details
- Inpatient child and adolescent psychiatric care
- Full-time direct patient care — minimum 40 hours per week
- Comprehensive patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment management
- Medical history collection, documentation, and electronic medical record management
- Analysis of test results and examination findings to inform diagnosis and treatment
- Patient and family education on diagnoses, procedures, and prescribed treatments
- Monitoring of patient conditions and reevaluation of treatment plans as needed
- Proficiency in Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding
- On-call participation during weekdays and weekends as required
