Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pediatrician for a locum tenens position with Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Vancouver, Washington. This is a full-time, outpatient community health center role serving a diverse patient population. Please see below for more information.
- Practice setting: outpatient ambulatory community health center
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00a - 5:00p, 40 hours/week, no call
- Patient population: newborns through age 18
- Support staff: dedicated medical assistant per provider, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians; onsite pediatrician and administrator at most clinics
- Serves migrants and refugees; onsite interpretive services available (bilingual a plus, not required)
- EMR: Epic
- Contract length: 3 months, possibility to extend
- Credentialing timeframe: approximately 2-3 weeks
Job Responsibilities
Care for patients newborn through age 18 in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Work with vulnerable populations including migrants and refugees, with onsite interpretive services.
Document care in Epic EMR.
Qualifications
Active Washington license and Washington DEA required (non-licensed candidates not considered).
BLS required.
Experience with Epic EMR.
Clean background required; community health center experience or interest in vulnerable populations preferred.
