We are seeking a full-time Pediatrician for a locum tenens position in Alma, Georgia. This is a locums-to-perm opportunity at a Critical Access hospital. Please see below for more information.
- 25-bed Critical Access hospital
- Solo pediatrician role with 8 other providers in the practice
- 20-25 patients per day; patient population ages 0-18
- Newborn rounding; Level I Nursery with approximately 180 annual deliveries
- Cover emergency C-section deliveries only at OB request (rare)
- Full travel paid
Job Responsibilities
- See approximately 20-25 patients per day, ages 0-18
- Perform newborn rounding in a Level I Nursery
- Cover emergency C-section deliveries only at OB request (rare)
- Provide 1.3 call coverage in addition to Monday-Friday clinic
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Active Georgia state license required (willing to license candidates considered)
- BLS and PALS certifications required
- DEA required
